At Haywood Grove we take great pride in working with our children and families so it is very rewarding for us to hear positive feedback from those who we serve.
Below are some of the comments that we are proud to have received;
"I can't thank you enough for all you have done for my child and me for always being so caring and helpful with everything. Don't know what we are going to do without you. My child has come so far in such a short time thanks to the amazing support and understanding you all have had for him. You are going to be missed massively. So sad to be leaving."
from the parent of a child previously educated in residential provision
"I just wanted to thank you and your wonderful team of staff for helping this to happen (transition to mainstream), I appreciate that it has been a huge commitment in terms of time and people and I wanted you to know how much we have both appreciated your support."
from the parent of a child who transitioned back to mainstream school
"Thank you for everything you do with my child and for being there when parents need to talk."
from the parent of a child in year 5
"From the point of view of a foster carer of a child with special needs ………I have found Haywood Grove to be:
Excellent in their communication to me…… as a foster carer about my child.
Excellent in replying to any concerns or questions (often instantaneous, no matter what the time of day)
Very supportive of my child throughout his time in foster care. Taking into consideration his emotional wellbeing which often still changes on a daily basis.
Proactive in supporting his transition into secondary school. Making lots of phone calls and arrangements above and beyond what one would normally expect.
Excellent patience with me as a foster carer. I didn't "get" Haywood Grove at first. I came to realise over time that in order for children to learn to the best of their ability they need to have their emotional and social skills supported and developed, this is what Haywood Grove does best.
I can't thank all your wonderful staff enough for the dedication and love that has been shown to my child. He ends the year in a much better place than when it started. This is mostly down to the patience and understanding shown by everyone at Haywood Grove."

"To Haywood Grove’s amazing team!
You have changed our lives! You will never know the gratitude that is in my heart. I want to cry as I remember so well this time last year and how much my child suffered. Today he is a different boy and I am a different mum – and it is all because of you!"

"I viewed the time as a therapy session and looked forward to it each week"
"What makes this course is the people who run it and the friendships you make...thank you for this opportunity to grow in my emotional well-being and to recognise it in others"
