Mental Health Support Team 

Haywood Grove is proud to be working in partnership with the NHS, hosting a Mental Health Support Practitioner.  

The Mental Health Support Team (MHST) is an early intervention service, working with mild to moderate mental health difficulties and challenging behaviours.  

The MHST helps to support mental health in school in several ways:

• workshops with children or families
• group based work with children or families
• guided 1:1 self-help sessions with children and/or families around proactive prevention and support for mild to moderate mental health difficulties and challenging behaviour 
• supporting a 'whole school approach' to understanding and improving mental health

If you are interested in receiving support from our Mental Health Support Practitioner, please contact the school office and we will work with you to make a referral to the team.

At Haywood Grove, we are very grateful to the organisations who have provided financial support to help us  improve our outdoor learning spaces for the children.   As a result of this generosity, we have an outdoor gym, an in-floor trampoline and some outdoor shelters for our play spaces.
